Just because your dream looks impossible, doesn’t mean it is.

If you’ve been told that your dream is impossible, don’t be discouraged, you are in very good company.

Jim Abbott was told that it was impossible for him to ever become a major league baseball pitcher because he was born without a right hand.

He chose not to listen. In 1993, as a member of the New York Yankees, he threw a no-hitter against the Cleveland Indians.

Diana Nyad was told that no swimmer would ever make it all the way from Cuba to Florida. Just not going to happen.

She chose not to listen. In 2013, on her fifth attempt and at age 64, she became the first person confirmed to swim from Cuba to Florida without the aid of a shark cage, swimming 110 miles from Havana to Key West.

In India, Dashrath Manjhi was called a lunatic and was told that it was impossible to carve a road through a mountain with just a hammer and chisel.

He chose not to listen. 22 years later, he had carved a path 360-foot-long, 25-foot-deep in places and 30-foot-wide, to form a road through the rocks in the Gehlour Hill to give the people of his village better access to doctors, education and opportunities.

Every amazing accomplishment was thought to be impossible until someone did it.

“The biggest risk is not taking any risk… In a world that is changing really quickly, the only strategy that is guaranteed to fail is not taking risks.”

Seriously, What Do You Expect?

Expect success

Expectation is like gravity in one very important way.

Both are undeniable laws of the universe.

The law of gravity says, things that are tossed up into the air must come back down. Whether you like it or not, it just happens.

The law of expectations says, what you really expect to happen in your life, will happen. Whether you like it or not, it just will.

Teachers that EXPECT their students to work hard and do well, get students that tend to work harder and do better.

Sales professionals  who EXPECT to find qualified prospects willing to add value and quality to their lives and businesses, regardless of the obstacles, tend to close more sales and make more money.

But remember, it works both ways.

People who EXPECT to be miserable, rejected and poor, tend to attract misery, disappointment, and poverty.

What do you expect?

Imagine reaching your goals and achieving your dreams, and then EXPECT it to happen.

Your expectations

I welcome your comments and invite you to share your dreams.

Today Is The Day

What is your dream? What is your passion?

Are you waiting for the right time to start pursuing that thing that you want do or be?

Are conditions just not quite right to start going after your goal?

Is the money just a little too short for you to reach for your dream?

Guess what? It never will be!

The time, conditions, and money will never all be perfect for you to start going after your dream, whatever your dream is. And if waste time waiting for everything to be perfect, you will never start. And if you never take your shot at your dream, you WILL find yourself self at the end of your race, with your mouth filled with the rancid taste of regret.
The right day to start is today. Your best time to start marching toward your goal is now.

No, I don’t mean drop everything, quit your job, and go running out the door in pursuit of your dream. (Although that would be funny to watch).

I mean, write one thing on your to-do list for today that you can accomplish today, then do it. That is taking one small step toward your goal.

Then do,it again tomorrow, and next day. Keep moving forward one step at a time. Eventually you WILL succeed.

This formula is so simple, yet it is not easy.

Following this formula takes courage, determination, and hard work.

Following this formula requires you to be Brave Enough To Fail

If you are still reading this, then you are.
